Mahindra is all set to unleash several new EVs in the coming months, among them this futuristic-looking BE.05.

A dramatic look for Mahindra's BE-05 EV, said to be the first of many.

The forthcoming Mahindra BE.05, based on the XUV700, has been spotted in production-ready form during a shoot for an advertisement.

Of note is that the compact crossover (4370mm in length) retains most of the design elements from the concept car. It first showed in 2022.

Full width rear light bar isn't quite evident in this shot but the illuminated BE badge is.

Some of these aspects include the C-shaped LED DRLs, aero-spec alloy wheels, sloping roofline, gloss black body cladding, and full-width LED light bar on the tailgate. There’s also the new Mahindra twin peaks logo, and a substantial rear diffuser. The flush-fitting door handles appear in a slightly different position from the concept car’s.

All the mod cons here, including ovoid wheel, and wide dual screen format.

On the interior, the 2025 Mahindra BE.05 will feature a new two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, dual digital screens, and an airplane-inspired gear lever. The centre console has a drive mode selector, front armrest, engine start-stop button, and cup holders. A head-up display and  Level 2 autonomous drive are possibilities.

Seats look to be made from recycled materials.

The BE.05 rides on Mahindra’s new INGLO platform. It is likely to feature a 60kWh battery pack and two electric motors. The claimed range could stand as high as 500km on a single full charge. A full recharge should be possible on a fast charger in half an hour.

The aforementioned C-shaped DRLs apparent here.
