Production-ready Zenvo Aurora Tur unveiled with quad-turbo V12 engine
Words: Autocar
Danish hypercar maker Zenvo Automotive will unveil two new VP prototype Aurora Tur models at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, marking a key step towards production and first customer deliveries, targeted for summer 2027.
Zenvo calls Aurora the most significant car in its 19-year history, built from a clean-sheet bespoke platform around what it claims is the most powerful V12 fitted to a production car yet.

“Aurora is the car that sets the direction for Zenvo’s future,” says Executive Chairman Jens Sverdrup. “We have always described Aurora as an equilibrium of extremes. It brings together power, lightness, technical ambition, emotion, and accessibility in a way that feels true to our Scandinavian roots.”
CEO and CTO Jon Gunner adds that the programme has been about making “every part of the car work harder, from the architecture and componentry to the V12 powertrain, the sound, the feeling, and the response from the driver’s seat.”

Under the skin sits a 6.6-litre quad-turbo V12, co-developed with MAHLE Powertrain, targeting 1250bhp and a 9800rpm redline. Add in a trio of electric motors and total system output climbs to a targeted 1850bhp, depending on variant.
Two flavours will be offered: the lightweight, track-focused Agil, and the Tur seen here, a more grand-touring-oriented take on the same platform. Production numbers will be tightly capped, with the first cars reaching customers in the second half of 2027.
