Honda New Zealand has announced pricing and specifications for the updated CR-V range, which went on sale February 1.
Keeping things simple, this updated CR-V range is offered across four variants, with hybrid/petrol, and front-wheel drive or all-wheel as the two big choices.

The range starts at $51,000 for the CR-V X 2WD Petrol. As the name suggests, this model is front-wheel drive and exclusively petrol powered with a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine.
This engine produces 140kW and 240Nm of torque, and is paired with a continuously variable transmission.
At $59,000, the CR-V L AWD Petrol adds an all-wheel drive system, but keeps everything else the same.
The hybrid models start with the CR-V Hybrid X at $62,000. This front-wheel drive model pairs a 2.0-litre petrol engine with Honda’s two motor electric system, alongside an electronic continuously variable transmission.
Peak outputs are provided separately for this hybrid system, with the petrol motor producing 109kW/183Nm, and the electric motors adding 135kW/335Nm.
The range-topping CR-V Hybrid RS AWD represents the flagship model, and starts from $75,000. It gets the same hybrid powertrain, but adds an all-wheel drive system.
The Honda Sensing driver assistance system is now standard across the 2026 CR-V range, bringing with it features such as adaptive cruise control, lake keep assist, and forward collision warning among others.
A 9.0-inch infotainment display is standard across the range, which includes Apple Carpay and Android Auto connectivity.
