Liberty Walk has unveiled its widebody kit for the Honda Civic Type R, and it’s as wild as we expected.
With widened guards and a hefty chunk of camber, this kit sacrifices a lot of the Type R’s performance in the name of style.

Starting in Japan from $19,000, the kit can either be had in fibre glass or plastic reinforced carbon fibre.
It includes a new front bumper, a new splitter, and canards for the front guards. Speaking of guards, the new ones are 10mm wider than standard.
There’s a new vented bonnet, and an extended set of side skirts that make the Civic look even lower.

You’ll notice the understated wing from the standard Civic Type R has been replaced with one reminiscent of the FK8 generation.
Aside from the wing, the changes at the rear are subtle, with just a larger diffuser being added to the car.
A set of five-spoke Enkei wheels designed by Liberty Walk is also available with the kit, and can be had in white or black.
