The all-electric Leapmotor B05 has been confirmed to make its New Zealand debut at the Fieldays.
The official unveiling will take place at the Leapmotor stand, and be available to see throughout the duration of the event.

Unlike the plethora of electric SUVs entering the market, the B05 is a compact hatch, which should rival the BYD Atto 1.
New Zealand specifications are yet to be confirmed, but battery options in the B05 range from 52kWh to 67kWh. It is rated to a WLTP range of between 360km and 430km.

As for charging, it is rated to a maximum DC rate of 150kW, which will charge from 1 to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes.
While peak power outputs sit between 132kW and 180kW, all variants use an electric motor mounted on the rear axle.
On the inside, it makes use of a 14.6-inch infotainment screen and an 8.8-inch digital cluster.
