Nissan New Zealand has announced pricing for the all-new Navara ute, which will land in local showrooms in March.
Starting from $54,690, the Navara will be sold in four grades, consisting of the SL, ST, ST-X and PRO-4X.
Beneath the bonnet is a 2.4-litre bi-turbo diesel four-cylinder engine, which makes 150kW and 470Nm of torque. This is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and a 4×4 system.
All variants also achieve a braked towing capacity of 3.5-tonnes.
The Navara SL represents the entry-point to the range, and starts from $54,690.
It sits on 17-inch steel wheels that are wrapped in all-terrain tyres, and also gets a rear locking differential.
On the inside, it gets a 7-inch infotainment display with wired Apple Carplay and Android Auto, there’s also cloth upholstery.
The Navara ST is next up, starting from $57,690.
It builds on the SL by adding 17-inch alloy wheels, Premcar-tuned suspension, and a leather-accented steering wheel.
Premcar-tuned suspension is also an option on this entry-level Navara.
At $62,990, the Navara ST-X is a “premium specification” according to Nissan, and combines off-road ability with creature comforts.
It makes use of the Super 4WD system, featuring a Torsen limited-slip centre differential and seven selectable terrain modes.
It also gets a set of 18-inch alloy wheels as standard, as well as silver-painted grille inserts and side steps.
On the inside, standard kit includes a 9-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, alongside leather-accented seats.
At the top of the range is the Navara PRO-4X, which starts from $67,690.
This adds unique matt black 17-inch alloy wheels, arch mouldings with lava red accents, and a red-accented Navara tailgate badge.
On the inside it gets PRO-4X embossed seats, and lava red accents throughout the cabin.
This new Navara is backed up to 5 years or 150,000km warranty coverage and up to 5 years of 24-hour roadside assistance.
