Nissan New Zealand has confirmed pricing for the updated Z sports car line-up, which includes the much-anticipated manual Nismo variant.

Starting from $89,990, pricing has remained unchanged for the standard Z Coupe, which is available with either an eight-speed auto, or a six-speed manual transmission.

It’s the same story on the price front for the Z Nismo, as it remains unchanged at $108,500, no matter the transmission.

The 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 also remains unchanged, producing 298kW/475Nm in the standard coupe, and 309kW/520Nm in the Nismo.

Aside from this three-pedal Nismo, the other big changes to the sports car can be seen on the outside.

It features a freshly designed front end, and wears a new ‘Unryu Green’ paint colour.

The Z Nismo gets a pair of front brake rotors taken from the GT-R, which reportedly reduce unsprung mass by 9kg.

There are also new monotube Nismo dampers which are said to improve handling and ride comfort.

Orders are opening for the new Z this month, and first deliveries are expected to arrive in September.

“The Z is a Nissan icon. It has always been about the connection between driver and car, so bringing a manual to the NISMO and genuine GT-R-derived hardware doubles down on our promise to our most committed enthusiasts,” said Steve Milette, Managing Director, Nissan Oceania.

“Add the Coupe’s fresh new face, the heritage-inspired Unryu Green#, and 2026 is a milestone year for Z.”
