An old Toyota Hilux that’s currently being used to film the second instalment of the Minecraft movie has been spotted on the streets of Huntly.
In a video shared to Facebook by user Mitesh Pal, the heavily modified Hilux can be seen driving on Huntly’s main street.
Fitted with a caravan body on the back, the Hilux has also been done in a ‘Steve’s Lava Chicken’ theme, referencing Jack Black’s character in the movie.
It features a large Minecraft chicken on the roof, plus a mural of Jack Black’s character on the rear door.
Released last year, the first Minecraft movie grossed US$961 million, becoming the second-highest-grossing video game movie ever.
It was filmed in Huntly, which served as a backdrop for the fictional town of Chuglass, Idaho.
It featured Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Jennifer Coolidge, plus a slew of other Hollywood stars.
