Car Reviews, News and Advice

Auto Trader Insights: The leading NZ car blog for reviews, news, and expert buying and selling advice

It’s forty years since the first Auto Trader magazine was published. Now that we are online only, we decided it was high time to create a new brand and launch it with a new campaign – the first of its kind.

Tell New Zealand about your car, originated from the simple insight that private sellers just want as many people as possible to see their listing.

Auto Trader is also encouraging New Zealanders to become a part of the campaign by selecting 10 winners each month based on their listing creativity. The winners will then receive a nationwide billboard campaign and free exposure for their car sale. We’re looking forward to seeing how creative you can be with your headline!

The Alternative Commentary Collective

We’ve teamed up with the ACC to give you some tips and tricks for how to best flick your car. Welcome to “The ACC’s Auto Trader Masterclasses”.

Step One: Reasons for Selling – be sure you want to end the relationship

Step Two: Know your motor intimately – make, model, year, etc.

Step Three: Crafting the words your car deserves

Step Four: Lifting the skirt – the photo shoot do’s and don’ts of the visuals

Step Five: Choosing the right package on Auto Trader to suit

Step Six: Communication with potential buyers – the typical buyers you will encounter
