Range Rover has added the Black edition to its Sport SV range. Available to order later in the year, it celebrates the appeal of an all-black aesthetic. Distinctive black finishes include the Range Rover SV roundel and brand badges on the front grille.

You might not be able to see the vehicle in this shot, it is so stealthy.

Every detail on the exterior has been transformed with a Gloss Black finish for a stealthy appearance.

Martin Limpert, Global Managing Director, Range Rover, said: “Range Rover Sport SV Black represents the essence of sporting luxury; a statement of rebellion.

“Every single exterior and interior element has a Narvik black.

Blacker than dread.

Amplifying the full monochrome finish is a black-painted carbon fibre bonnet, and Gloss Black Forged 23-inch alloy wheels with Gloss Black brake calipers and Gloss Black quad exhausts. There’s even a new black ceramic SV roundel on the tailgate.

Inside are SV Black illuminated treadplates, while the sculpted performance seats feature a tactile Ebony Windsor leather. Gloss Grand Black finishes complete the look inside.

Nice details work on the RR Sport SV Black, as you'd hope.

Using a 474kW/750Nm 4.4litre mild-hybrid Twin Turbo V8, this model accelerates from 0-100km/h in a claimed 3.8 seconds, topping out at 290km/h.

The Range Rover Sport SV Black will attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed next week.
