Livestream event: BYD Sealion 8 pricing announced this Friday

BYD will be announcing the price of its new Sealion 8 this Friday morning via a live stream event.
On January 23, host Richard Edwards and BYD NZ Country Manager Warren Willmot will be live to pull the covers off the Sealion 8, the brand’s new large, seven-seat Super Hybrid SUV.
The Sealion 8 enters a segment with few direct rivals. At over five metres long, it looks to bridge the gap between mid-sized 7-seaters like the Mitsubishi Outlander and larger, traditional family movers like the Toyota Highlander, bringing BYD’s DM-i (Dual Mode) plug-in technology.
During the broadcast, Richard and Warren will provide a detailed walk around of the new SUV, allowing viewers to explore the interior tech, third-row comfort, and family-focused features.
The stream will conclude with the official New Zealand pricing announcement and a live Q&A session where you can put your questions regarding towing, range, or specs directly to the country manager.
