Pagani has pulled the covers off its latest one-off, the Huayra 70 Derecho, with the car headlining the brand’s appearance at Goodwood.
Under the skin sits Pagani’s familiar recipe of theatre and engineering. Power comes from the twin-turbo 5980cc V12, co-developed with Mercedes-AMG, producing 635kW) at 6,000rpm and a hefty 1,100 Nm of torque.
It features a seven-speed manual transverse gearbox from Xtrac, with an electromechanical self-locking differential doing the work of putting it all down. Pagani claims an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h.
The Derecho is a bespoke creation from Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni division. The livery pairs Pearl Orange with Inky Blue, the latter a deep, fully transparent finish applied to the lower body and interior monocoque, while the Pearl Orange dominates the main bodywork.
Solid-milled aluminium details, anodised in Glossy Titanium, trim the exterior without disrupting its flow — echoed by the new-design Huayra 70 Titanium wheels.
Stopping duties fall to Brembo carbon-ceramic discs (398mm front, 380mm rear), wrapped in bespoke Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R rubber.
