Denza, a subsidiary brand of BYD, is closer than ever to revealing its new electric supercar that’s said to do battle with the Porsche 911.
Dubbed the ‘Z’, this two-door machine seems to have been given the seal of approval from former James Bond actor Daniel Craig, who appears in the press imagery.
This Z is expected to become the brand’s flagship performance vehicle when it is finally released later this year.
It is reportedly packed with advanced equipment and gets features such as a ‘crab walk’ and ‘tank turn’.
A tri-motor configuration will reportedly produce close to 1,000hp (735kW), which gives it 911-like performance.
Camouflaged prototypes have been spotted already lapping the Nürburgring, stoking speculation of a lap record attempt.
It reportedly rides on high-end magnetic suspension, and features a steer-by-wire system.
As for the Daniel Craig appearance, partnering with the actor was a decision made to expand the brand’s European and Latin America presence.
