Armstrong’s acquire North Harbour and John Andrew Ford dealerships

Ford New Zealand has confirmed that Armstrong’s Group will take over ownership of the Auckland-based North Harbour Ford and John Andrew Ford dealerships.
The deal, effective from 31st October 2026, represents a major expansion of Armstrong’s presence into the Ford brand.
Ford New Zealand Managing Director Annaliese Atina welcomed the move, saying: “We are delighted to welcome Armstrong’s to the Ford New Zealand family as the new custodians of our North Harbour and John Andrew dealerships.
“Armstrong’s has built an outstanding reputation over more than three decades for customer care, operational excellence, and investment in its people and facilities.
“Their scale, expertise, and dealer network across New Zealand align perfectly with Ford’s ambitions for growth in Auckland, and we are confident this transition will deliver real, lasting benefits for our customers and team members at both dealerships.”
Armstrong’s Executive Director Rick Armstrong said the group was proud to grow its Ford partnership.

Armstrong’s will bring added scale and resources to both sites, lifting service capacity, facility investment, and overall customer care.
