Maserati has unveiled an updated look for its three core models for the 2027 model year.
The three models benefiting from the facelift included the GranTurismo coupe, GranCabrio convertible, and Grecale SUV.
The common change between the three models is the front grille, which pulls them more into line with the styling on Maserati’s flagship MCPura supercar.
This new sharknose style front end gives the vehicles a more aggressive look, seemingly at the cost of elegance.
Thankfully, the updates run deeper than looks, with the performance of these three Italians also being addressed.
Powered by the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, the GranTurismo Trofeo and GranCabrio Trofeo get a bump in grunt, now producing 433kW.
The electric ‘Folgore’ models remain mostly unchanged on the powertrain front, apart from the addition of an all-wheel drive disconnect system that adds 90km of range.
On the inside, there’s a new steering wheel, and a new digital clock mounted on top of the dash.
A new gear selector is also present, alongside “three-dimensional controls”, which sounds like PR speak for buttons.
Maserati New Zealand is yet to release any information about these updated models for our local market.
