Following its unveiling at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, Mazda has confirmed the all-new CX-6e SUV for New Zealand.
Featuring a 78kWh battery, the CX-6e is capable of covering up to 484km on single charge, according to the Japanese brand.

It makes use of a single electric motor on the rear axle, which produces 190kW and 290Nm of torque. This also makes it exclusively rear-wheel drive.
With a wheelbase that measures 2,902mm, the CX-6e is a large vehicle, and the 468-litre luggage capacity supports this.

On the inside, it gets a massive 26-inch touchscreen display that stretches almost the entire width of the dash.
This reportedly gets a customisable dual-split layout that provides passengers information, without distracting the driver from the road.

On top of this, drivers get a large head-up display that conveys driving information.
Mazda New Zealand claims that this CX-6e should arrive near the end of 2026, with pricing and specification information shared closer to the launch date.
