Leaked: Volvo EX60 images emerge ahead of official launch
Words: Andrew Sluys
Volvo’s new EX60 electric SUV has been leaked ahead of its global launch, which is set for later this week.
The images first published by Kindel Auto show the SUV’s front end, which doesn’t hold any surprises in terms of design.

It features Volvo’s signature ‘Thor Hammer’ LED headlights, and a sleek front bumper.
Two paint options are seen in the leaked images, which look to be a dark blue hero colour, and a grey crayon-like hue.
Volvo has only released teaser images of the EX60 until now, but has confirmed battery specifications.
With a range of 810km (WLTP), the EX60 should beat out its rivals in the mid-size electric SUV segment.
This means when the EX60 eventually arrives in New Zealand, it will dethrone the Tesla Model 3 Long Range with its 750km WLTP rating.
Beneath the refreshed Volvo exterior, this EX60 will make use of new SPA3 architecture, which is set to bring with it better autonomous features, and faster infotainment processing power.
Volvo has announced that the EX60 will hit showrooms around the world mid-2026, so we can probably expect to see it here in the second-half of the year.
