GWM New Zealand is gearing up for Fieldays with the launch of a special ute; the Cannon XSR Limited Edition.
Capped to 50 examples nationwide, the Cannon XSR brings a more off-road-focused edge. Based on the Cannon, the XSR is aimed at Kiwi buyers wanting more rugged styling and enhanced capability.
The XSR distinguishes itself with a suite of functional upgrades designed to boost both performance and visual presence. Key additions include an electronic front differential lock, front and rear metal bars, metal side steps, a snorkel, and a unique XSR grille paired with a black sports bar. It also rides on new black alloy wheels wrapped in Cooper all-terrain tyres, while additional terrain drive modes further enhance its off-road credentials.

The Cannon XSR is priced at $52,490, while currently the entry level Lux is $40,990, and the Ultra is $43,990.
Buyers will also benefit from GWM’s ownership package, which includes a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty and five years of 24/7 roadside assistance, adding extra peace of mind for those looking to put the XSR to work both on and off the road.
