Lamborghini has unveiled the Revuelto Impavido, a Japan-only limited edition marking 25 years of the Italian brand’s presence in Japan.
Just 25 individually numbered examples will be built, inspried by Bushido, the samurai code of honour built on courage, discipline and determination. The name itself, “Impavido,” is Italian for “fearless” and “courageous”.
Underneath the theatrics sits the standard Revuelto with its naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12. This is paired with three electric motors and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, for more than 750kW. Performance wise, it will hit 100km/h in 2.5 seconds and keep pulling to 350km/h.
Design wise, the creases across the doors and rear bumper mimic a katana strike, gold accents reference the odoshi cords that bound armour plates together, and the front end nods to the maedate helmet crest.
Roof and fender details borrow from the kozane, the lacquered plates of traditional armour.
Buyers get four exclusive colour options: Verde Campus (jade), Grigio Artis Lucido (katana steel), Grigio Crater Matt (samurai armour) and Rosso Pyra (Sanada Red, for bravery and strength).
Each car rides on 21″-22″ Altanero forged rims in Shiny Black, with bronze calipers and matt black exhaust tips, plus a numbered “1 di 25” carbon-fibre interior plate.
Lamborghini chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann called it proof of how the brand’s Ad Personam programme can “transform that vision into a unique expression of identity and craftsmanship,” while Japan boss Paolo Sartori said the project was built “to celebrate the passion and loyalty of our customers in Japan.”
