McLaren unveils ultra-rare Artura Spider Championship Edition to celebrate F1 title
Words: Kyle Cassidy
McLaren Automotive has revealed an ultra-exclusive Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition, created to celebrate McLaren Racing’s 10th Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship and its back-to-back title success.

Strictly limited to just 10 customer cars worldwide, the special edition has been curated by McLaren Special Operations (MSO) and pays tribute to McLaren’s championship-winning 2025 MCL39 Formula 1 car. That car not only secured the Constructors’ title, but also carried Lando Norris to his first World Drivers’ Championship.

McLaren says the project offers its most loyal clients the chance to own a piece of the brand’s Formula 1 history, while also experiencing a bespoke ownership journey linked to the milestone championship achievement. And the exercise will help fill McLaren’s coffers too.

The Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition features a hand-painted MSO livery, blending Myan Orange and Onyx Black, inspired by the 2025 title-winning F1 car. Championship-specific detailing includes multiple ‘10’ motifs marking McLaren’s 10 Constructors’ titles, each incorporating ten stars and outlines of every McLaren Formula 1 car to have won the championship.

Exterior enhancements include the Black Pack, 10-spoke Super-Lightweight Dynamo forged alloy wheels in Gloss Black, Myan Orange brake calipers with black McLaren branding, the Stealth Badge Pack, and a sports exhaust with Stealth finisher.

Inside, the cabin receives a series of MSO Bespoke touches, including ‘10’ headrest embroidery, a Myan Orange-painted 12 o’clock steering wheel marker, and a custom centre-console plaque highlighting the car’s exclusivity. The interior is finished in Carbon Black Alcantara and Jet Black Nappa leather, accented with McLaren Vision Orange piping.

Further elevating the collectability, the satin carbon-fibre sill finishers are hand-signed by McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Each car also features a custom track record plaque in the luggage compartment detailing McLaren’s wins, pole positions and fastest laps from the 2025 Formula 1 season. Owners will also receive a bespoke 2025 Constructors’ Championship collectors’ keepsake.
