MotorShare has expanded its performance fleet with the addition of a 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye.

Now available to members and customers, the coupe, which has been converted to RHD, brings a formidable 797hp to New Zealand roads, marking a significant step for MotorShare’s growing American performance line-up.

Hopefully the nation’s fuel stocks remain healthy, as the Redeye’s supercharged 6.2-litre HEMI V8 loves gas. But it also converts those hydrocarbons into lots of great noise too.

MotorShare says the addition reflects increasing demand for a broader range of driving experiences, particularly among enthusiasts seeking something more visceral than traditional European sports cars.

Co-founder and CEO James Punnett said the Hellcat Redeye offers a unique appeal. “For many enthusiasts, American muscle is about more than numbers. It’s about sound, presence and the feeling of power. The Hellcat Redeye delivers that in a way very few cars can.”

Co-founder Chris Brett added that the model introduces a new dimension to the company’s offering, providing a stark contrast to the precision-focused European vehicles already in the fleet.

Based in Auckland, MotorShare operates as a private car club, offering access to a curated range of high-performance and luxury vehicles through memberships, rentals and driving experiences.

The arrival of the Hellcat Redeye underscores the company’s focus on delivering diverse and memorable driving experiences without the long-term commitment of ownership.
