Skoda will introduce a new flagship electric SUV in mid-2026, with the all-new Peaq set to become the brand’s largest and most advanced model to date.
Based on the Vision 7S concept, the Peaq will sit at the top of Skoda’s expanding EV line-up, playing a central role in the company’s plan to significantly grow its electric offering. Built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform and produced in Mladá Boleslav, the seven-seat SUV is designed to combine practicality with long-range capability and high-end comfort.

Measuring close to 4.9 metres in length, the Peaq is positioned as the most spacious vehicle in Skoda’s portfolio. It offers seating for up to seven adults, with a boot capacity of 299 litres that expands to 890 litres when the third row is folded. A 37-litre front storage compartment adds further versatility.

Range is expected to exceed 600 kilometres in higher-spec variants, with three powertrain options, badged 60, 90 and 90x, delivering outputs from 150kW to 220kW. The flagship all-wheel-drive 90x model is said to be capable of accelerating from 0–100km/h in 6.7 seconds, while fast-charging capability allows a 10 to 80 percent top-up in under 30 minutes.

Skoda CEO Klaus Zellmer said the Peaq represents a major step forward for the brand.
“The Skoda Peaq is designed for real life – for families who need space, for drivers who want confidence on long journeys, and for anyone who values modern style without compromise. As our next flagship, it raises the Škoda brand to a new level: more spacious, more practical, and more attractive for everyday explorers. Peaq brings a new sense of scale, smart functionality, and progressive design to the large electric SUV segment, setting a benchmark for what a modern Skoda can be.”

Visually, the Peaq introduces a more evolved version of Skoda’s ‘Modern Solid’ design language, highlighted by a new illuminated Tech-Deck front panel and full LED Matrix headlights. Large alloy wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches and a choice of 10 exterior colours further emphasise its flagship positioning.

Inside, the company says the cabin has been designed with space and flexibility in mind. Five interior themes will be offered, including sustainable, animal-free options that incorporate recycled materials. A new Relax Package adds features such as massage seats, adjustable leg rests and a wellness app that synchronises climate control, ambient lighting and seating functions to enhance comfort on long journeys.

The Peaq also introduces a premium in-car audio system developed in collaboration with Sonos, marking a first for the brand. The system is designed to deliver a high-quality, immersive listening experience throughout the cabin.

Technology is another major focus, with a new Android-based infotainment system featuring a 13.6-inch vertical touchscreen, a 10-inch driver display and an available augmented reality head-up display. Smartphone integration extends to a digital key function, allowing owners to access and start the vehicle using a mobile device or smartwatch.
Flush door handles feature for improved aerodynamics, as does an electrochromic panoramic roof with adjustable transparency, and vehicle-to-load capability that allows external devices to be powered directly from the car’s battery. Vehicle-to-home functionality will also be supported via compatible charging systems.
A Sportline variant will also be available from launch, adding black exterior detailing, larger wheels and a more driver-focused interior with sports seats and a three-spoke steering wheel.
