Forthing New Zealand has launched locally with the Taikon SUV, which is offered in pure electric, and ‘Super Hybrid’ range extender forms.
The Ateco Group is in charge of Forthing distribution locally, and the brand’s dealer network was recently announced.
To begin with, the Forthing dealer network in New Zealand will comprise four locations, spread across the country.
These will be located in New Zealand’s biggest metro centres of Auckland central, Hamilton, Wellington, and Christchurch.
Smith Motor Group will serve Auckland central, Winger in Hamilton, Automarque in Wellington, and Euromarque in Christchurch.
Alongside announcing this network at the local launch of the Taikon, Todd Groves, General Sales Manager of Forthing NZ mentioned it would soon expand.
This expansion would see the inclusion of North Shore, West Auckland, Tauranga, Dunedin locations.
Specific dealers for these additional locations weren’t announced.
