Fuel prices might be heading to all time highs, but that probably won’t stop Hennessey Performance Engineering selling out its latest gas guzzling sensation; the Hennessey Goliath 700 ZR2.
Based on the 2026 Silverado ZR2, the Goliath 700 receives extensive powertrain, suspension and styling upgrades, lifting output from the standard truck’s 6.2-litre V8 to a substantial 700 horsepower (522kW) and 828Nm of torque.

The result is a dramatic improvement in performance. Hennessey claims the supercharged pickup can accelerate from 0–60mph in just 4.2 seconds, significantly quicker than the stock truck’s 5.6-second time.
Supercharged V8 power
At the heart of the transformation is a twin-screw supercharger paired with an air-to-water intercooling system and bespoke engine management calibration. According to Hennessey, the upgrades increase output by around 66 percent compared with the standard Silverado ZR2’s 313kW rating.

Alongside the engine work, the truck receives a stainless steel cat-back exhaust system and upgraded exhaust tips to complement the added performance.
Off-road capability enhanced
The Texas tuner has also upgraded the chassis to ensure the Goliath can handle more than just straight-line performance. Suspension improvements include a BDS suspension system with revised upper control arms and integrated Multimatic DSSV shocks, designed to boost stability and control both on-road and off-road.

New 20-inch Hennessey off-road wheels wrapped in 35-inch tyres further enhance the truck’s rugged credentials.
Alex Roys, president of Hennessey, says the package was designed to deliver serious performance without sacrificing everyday usability.
“The Hennessey GOLIATH 700 ZR2 is designed for customers who want extreme power and capability without compromising on usability and comfort,” he said.

“We deliver performance dominance and heaps of presence by combining powertrain and chassis upgrades with comprehensive exterior and interior styling enhancements. We’ve created a truck with purpose that feels just as confident on the highway as it does tackling challenging terrain.”
Carbon fibre styling upgrades
Visually, the Goliath 700 ZR2 stands apart from the standard truck thanks to a range of exposed carbon fibre elements. These include a functional carbon fibre hood vent designed to improve airflow and engine cooling, along with carbon fibre tailgate trim and prominent Hennessey badging.

Heavy-duty steel front and rear bumpers, a skid plate, integrated LED lighting and a 40-inch front light bar add further visual aggression while also improving off-road capability.
Inside, the truck gains Hennessey-branded floor mats, embroidered headrests and a serial-numbered plaque identifying each example in the limited run.
Limited production
Hennessey plans to build just 100 examples of the Goliath 700 ZR2, each priced from US$139,950 and sold through authorised Chevrolet dealers in the United States.
Each truck is backed by a three-year or 36,000-mile limited warranty and will undergo professional installation, chassis dyno tuning and road testing as part of the upgrade process.
