Arcfox T5 confirmed for 2027 New Zealand arrival

Fresh off the back of the launch of Arcfox’s first vehicle in New Zealand, the brand’s local distributor has confirmed another entry.
While the T1 was the talk of the event, it was revealed by Arcfox’s local GM Shiguang Guo that the T5 will be introduced early next year.

The Alpha T5 mid-size SUV is available in both electric and range-extender form, although just the electric version was confirmed.
The T5 measures 4,760 mm long on a 2,845 mm wheelbase, with BEV variants offering CATL-supplied battery options of 64.8, 74.4, and 79.2 kWh for CLTC ranges of 560, 660, and 705 km respectively.
The range-extender version pairs a 1.5-litre generator with a 27.4 kWh battery for 215 km of electric range and a combined total of 1,215 km.

All versions produce 200 kW and 360 Nm, with the REEV managing 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. It sits on an 800V platform supporting fast charging from 30 to 80 percent in 15 minutes.
When it lands, it’s like this T5 will face competition from other Chinese SUVS in the immensely competitive mid-size SUV segment. It will be up against the likes of the Leapmotor C10, and the MGS6.
Exact timing wasn’t shared, but we can expect to see this T5 SUV on our shores in early 2027.
