Aston Martin teams up with Mattel for Vantage GT3 kit

Words: Andrew Sluys

Aston Martin has joined forces with Mattel to release a miniature brick model of its Vantage GT3 racer.

As a 1:16 replica, this Mattel Brick Shop offering looks to possess an impressive level of detail.

The kit comprises 793 pieces, and the specialised parts mean it matches the overall shape of the Vantage.

It is finished in Aston Martin’s signature shade of green, and features lime green accents on the front grille and wing mirrors.

Mattel also includes various wheel faces that can be interchanged for different looks, an aerodynamic front splitter does the same.

“For racing and car fans, the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is pure bucket list material,” Mattel’s Ted Wu described.

“With the Mattel Brick Shop Hot Wheels line, we are giving enthusiasts a new way to connect with the icon that is this Aston Martin model and bring it home as a highly detailed, customizable build that is made to be built, shown off, and admired.”
