Honda’s Super-N EV has been revealed in full for the UK market, which gives us a pretty good idea as to what we can expect when it lands locally later this year.

The most important question is around the price, and Honda has been able to bring it to the UK for under £20,000.

In New Zealand, a direct conversion puts it at $42,000, but we’d expect to see it more in the $50,000 region given import costs etc.

The Super-N sits on a platform shared with a bunch of Honda’s Japan-only kei cars, giving it a small footprint.

Despite the small packaging, the wide body panels give the Super-N quite an aggressive aesthetic, harking back to the City Turbo.

The Super-N is powered by a single electric motor on the front axle, which produces up to 70kW in Boost mode.

It also makes use of a simulated seven-speed automatic transmission, in an attempt to recreate driving emotion.

Speaking on the powertrain system, Honda UK said: “the instant response of an EV with the emotional connection of a combustion engine vehicle”.

A 29.6kWh battery provides a driving range of up to 320km at city speeds, or 206km on the highway.

Honda New Zealand has stated that this Super-N will be available in the second half of 2026.
