MG New Zealand has announced pricing and specification for the My26 MG4 EV, which is now available locally.
The updated MG4 range starts with the Essence 64 at $44,990. It uses a single motor on the rear axle, and its 64kWh battery provides a driving range up to 452km (WLTP).
Peak outputs for this model sit at 140kW/350Nm, and it can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 25 minutes.
At the top of the range is the MG4 XPower, starting from $55,990. It adds an electric motor to the front axle, creating an all-wheel drive system.
Despite using the same battery, the XPower’s uprated outputs of 150+170kW and 250+350Nm mean its maximum driving range is limited to around 400km (WLTP).
These higher outputs however mean it can hit 100km/h in just 3.8-seconds from a standing start.
On the inside, the MG4 makes use of a 10.25-inch LCD digital cluster, and a 12.8-inch infotainment display.
Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto are also offered as standard.
MG New Zealand backs the MG4 with a ten-year warranty, when serviced within the national dealer network.
