MG New Zealand has announced the return of the ZS Vibe to the New Zealand market, which represents the entry point to the brand’s SUV line-up.
At $25,990 (plus on-road costs), the ZS Vibe is now one of the cheapest new SUVs available to New Zealand buyers.
It is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine, which makes 81kW and 140Nm. This is sent to the front wheels through a CVT transmission.
It also carries the ZS’ five-star ANCAP safety rating, which was achieved in December 2025.
“MG ZS Vibe is about making life simple,” said Dean Sheed, Country Business Manager of MG Motor New Zealand.
“It’s a car designed for people who want great value, modern technology and 5-star safety peace of mind, without overcomplicating things. The return of ZS Vibe strengthens our promise of offering accessible mobility for Kiwis.”
It is also backed by MG’s 10-year warranty, when serviced with the local dealer network.
