Lamborghini has revealed the Fenomeno Roadster, an open-top version of its already extreme hybrid V12 supercar that now claims the title of the most powerful Lamborghini convertible ever produced.

Based heavily on the brand’s flagship Revuelto platform, the new Fenomeno Roadster combines dramatic styling with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain delivering 794kW of power. Production will be strictly limited to just 15 examples worldwide, making it even rarer than the coupe version, which was capped at 29 units.

The Roadster forms part of Lamborghini’s exclusive “few-off” programme, following in the footsteps of the Lamborghini Reventón, Lamborghini Veneno, Lamborghini Centenario and Lamborghini Sián.

Finished predominantly in blue as a tribute to the Lamborghini Miura Roadster, the Fenomeno Roadster also features red detailing inspired by Lamborghini’s home city of Bologna.

While removing the roof from a supercar often compromises aerodynamic performance, Lamborghini says the Fenomeno Roadster has been engineered to remain nearly as slippery as the coupe. A redesigned windscreen integrates a carbon-fibre spoiler that channels airflow over the cabin and into the rear engine bay, helping cool both the naturally aspirated V12 and the carbon-ceramic braking system.

An active rear spoiler and enormous diffuser further enhance high-speed stability, while the aggressive styling hides cleverly packaged anti-roll bars beneath carbon-fibre structures behind the seats.

The wheel setup mirrors the coupe, with staggered 21-inch front and 22-inch rear alloys wrapped in bespoke Bridgestone Potenza tyres developed specifically for the model. Race-inspired manually adjustable dampers also allow drivers to alter the car’s ride height.

Power comes from Lamborghini’s 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 paired with three electric motors and a 7.0kWh battery pack. Combined output sits at 794kW, making the Fenomeno Roadster the most potent open-top Lamborghini ever built.

Lamborghini claims a 0-100km/h sprint in just 2.4 seconds, while 0-200km/h takes 6.8 seconds. Top speed exceeds 340km/h.

Although capable of short-distance electric-only driving, the hybrid system is designed primarily to boost performance and reduce emissions rather than provide meaningful EV range. The setup also allows Lamborghini to continue offering its signature V12 engine in an era of increasingly strict global emissions regulations.

The Italian marque has not announced pricing, though the Fenomeno Roadster is expected to command a substantial premium over the standard Lamborghini Revuelto, which already sits among the world’s most expensive production supercars.

Lamborghini has also hinted that at least one more new model is due to arrive before the end of 2026.
